What do you get when you put Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics together? One answer is a style of education; another, and importantly for us today, it’s also an introduction to a very remarkable guest, Neil Thompson.
With a wealth of knowledge and professional experience behind him, Neil these days is on a blended mission.
On one hand we discuss, in our Podcast, how Neil is teaching Geeks how to become effective public speakers. He is empowering his clients with the ability to communicate competently while at the same time teaching them the value in developing soft skills.
The other hand our conversation turns to his children’s books. We hear that Neil is creating a range of books that encourages children to pursue the wide span of educational fields and professions that are open to them.
His guidelines for both areas of his mission are the same – keep it simple and use science as a key to success. And his bonus tip – inject a sense of humour into all that you do.
